As per April 2025, Sentum is working on a novel delivery method. The current market for mood modulation products is growing rapidly. This market is shaped on one side by restrictions from the tobacco industry, and on the other by the increasing availability of nootropic products. The mood modulation ingredients are added to more consumer products, including drinks, sweets, bars, etc. It forms a new consumer habit, which already can be seen in a GEN Z preference of nutrition product with the psychological effect over the alcohol or nicotine. This trend provides a space for the product which could become the centered technological innovation between strong psychological products – alcohol /tobacco and novel firendly psychological consumer products – food.

The food supplements industry is seeking higher bioavailability to deliver stronger effects with the same amount of active ingredients, as well as exploring novel ingredient combinations. Sentum has been active in the food supplements industry for four years, and our team has developed dozens of food supplements — including medications — in previous projects.

After the collaboration with JTI through the Jumptrack in 2022 , Our team conducted a consumer analysis and found that consumers are seeking daily rituals — but ones focused on well-being, mood improvements with as less harm as possible.
Around 300,000EUR were invested into the collaborative efforts to find the right market proposition and strategy for the chemical development .
After 2 years of Development, Sentum find out the way to develop the product which can become a novel healthy ritual.

Sentum developed a unique set of plant based liquid combinations with target psychological effects

( without nicotine) and We identified a method to enhance absorption by around 500% via buccal administration of the active ingredients. We found out that all the efforts to deliver plant based combinations into alveolus are not safe, so we developed a device which breaks the liquid into fine droplets and widespread around the buccal area where ingredients are absorbed in several seconds. The activation of the device is made through the sipping.
The device is similar to electronic cigarette having a space for cartridges( with different liquids for different target effects ) which consumers can change based on the current needs. To make effective widespread the electronics were improved and the response rate was decreased to make an effective and fast liquid dispertion.

Currently, Sentum is refining the prototype to create the first available nutrition device for daily use.
